My Cornish friend always tells me to wait until I’ve tried a proper Cornish pasty! There are lots of cheap and nasty versions in supermarkets. The ones, like in your pic, that are fresh and have nice ingredients look delicious! I bet empanada’s are delicious too.

Louisa the pasties here are a legacy of all the Cornish miners who came to our state in the 1800s. I need to try in Cornwall.
