Hooray,  we have a four-day Easter break coming up.  For some this means piling into the car for a camping trip or visit to some coastal shack for a bit of relaxation and fishing and reading and pottering in the indian summer weather.  For us this means painting the kitchen and hallway, hanging the shelves and really settling into the newly renovated kitchen and office.

It’s been a year since we had a holiday and it would have been nice to get away, but we are in need of some closure! The house has been a bit skewiff for some months now.  The garage needs a bit of tidying as well.  There are things that went to the garage when we emptied 3 rooms for the reno and they need to be sorted into Garage sale, garbage and charity box piles.  I reckon that’ll be my job! Might just need a holiday after all that.
