The tree did not get pruned last year because we were away a bit and so when the fruit began to form, the branches were long and lanky. Last year was a slack year but this year the apricot tree has been prolific. Maybe just enough spring rain and a bit of warm weather.

I have eaten dozens of the little buggers. Andrew made apricot dumplings, and I have cooked up quite a few kilos and am having stewed apricots with Greek yogurt as a daily snack. Good thing I can’t get enough of them in season!
